Cherry
Patient financing for med spas and other cash-pay practices. Cherry publishes a merchant-fee range instead of hiding it.
What it does for a med spa
Cherry lets a patient split a treatment plan, with applications that use a soft credit check. The practice gets paid upfront and Cherry collects from the patient. It shows up inside a lot of aesthetic checkouts, including integrations other EMRs name. It is financing, not a booking system.
Who it’s best for
A spa that quotes treatment plans big enough that 'pay in full today' loses the consult.
Pros
- The fee range is public. You can model margin before the rep arrives.
- No subscription is what they publish, so an unused month should not create a software bill.
- Soft pull and a short application are easier at the front desk than a long credit-card pitch.
Cons
- 13.9% at the top of the range is a different business than 1.7%. Ask which plans you will actually offer.
- Financing does not fix a slow lead response. It only helps the person who is already in the chair.
- Staff have to offer it. A login nobody opens is a wasted integration.
